How did your background lead you to Better Origin?
My background combines a lot of elements that are core to Better Origin and what I do here. It involves setting up and running operations, food supply chain, engineering, and technology.
What was your initial reaction to the role?
That I am very fortunate to work with a great team. When I joined as a VP of Operations, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Better Origin is one of the most mission-led company I have encountered, and each employee is aligned behind this.
What are you most proud to be able to work on?
I love working on building solid foundational elements of the company. I consider both the current state and how this will evolve at scale. Part of my work is to bring the strategy into tangible actions and mobilising teams to do so. This is something I really love doing.
What have you learned from your coworkers?
I find fascinating how things that have never been done before become possible when everyone is aligned behind the same goal and really committed to making it happen.
What inspires you to come to work every day?
We are trying to make the food Industry more sustainable by empowering food producers and retailers to achieve Net Zero emissions. I really want to be part of the solution.
